Martinelia
Martinelia is a Spanish children’s cosmetics brand founded in 2017 with a playful, innovative approach to the children’s cosmetics market. Its makeup, beauty products, personal-care items, and accessories are presented through play, with an emphasis on imagination, creativity, and freedom, and are intended for children aged three and above. The brand is part of Aquarius Cosmetic SLU, a family-owned Spanish cosmetics company founded in Gurb, Barcelona, in 1995 and led by its second generation. Its name combines Martina and Elia, the owner’s two daughters, who also inspired Martinelia’s imaginative world. On 7 April 2025, Spain’s consumer organisation OCU reported the withdrawal and recall of Martinelia’s Super Girl Nail Design Kit after AEMPS ordered the cessation of sale because the allergenic fragrance ingredient benzyl alcohol was not declared on the label.
