Marvel

Marvel’s publishing history is traced to Marvel Comics #1, published on August 31, 1939; the title eventually became the company’s name. Its creative identity was materially shaped by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s Fantastic Four #1 in 1961, which Marvel describes as launching the Marvel Age and its Silver Age of comics. Marvel later developed from a comics publisher into a character-based entertainment company spanning publishing, entertainment production, and licensing across media and consumer products. Disney owns Marvel. In fragrance, Marvel is documented through licensed character merchandise rather than as a standalone perfumery. A notable example is the Avengers cologne line created by JADS International in partnership with Marvel Entertainment, which debuted at the 2012 Toy Fair with cologne and perfume products inspired by The Avengers.
