Massimo Dutti
Founded in 1985 as a menswear label, Massimo Dutti added a women’s fashion line in 1995. Inditex acquired an interest in the company in 1991 and took it over in 1995. Since September 2006, Massimo Dutti has designed and marketed fragrances for women and men. In 2021, Inditex announced that Uterqüe would be integrated into Massimo Dutti during 2022, with its products made available through Massimo Dutti’s website and selected stores. Massimo Dutti Studio launched in May 2022 with the design team that had worked on Uterqüe, retaining part of Uterqüe’s creative identity after the label closed. A 2024 account described the brand’s direction as moving from accessible, functional menswear toward a more premium design positioning, with its Art in Progress project connecting fashion with art and craftsmanship.
