Mavemade

Mavemade was co-founded by Marion Lange and film producer Vera Portz after the pair discussed their shared practice of layering perfumes. The name combines “Marion” and “Vera” and means “made by Marion and Vera.” The founders initially launched the company with a perfume series, describing perfumes and candles as the starting point for a broader product concept. Its fragrance offering is a collection of nine unisex scents designed to be worn individually or layered, with names intended to express feelings and encourage choices made with meaning or intent. The nine-fragrance launch was developed with French perfumer Philippine Courtière, whom the founders selected after preparing a concept brief and moodboard. Within that collection, Glück won the Artistic Independent Perfume category at the 2021 German Duftstars awards.
