A WIPO Gazette published on April 16, 2004 records international registrations 735407 and 800403 for the mark, held by M.G. Demand Holding AG of Lucerne. In 2019, MAX GORDON was recorded in class 3 for perfumery products, essential oils, and cosmetic and beauty preparations, with Swissduft AG of Egg named as applicant. Swissduft had entered the Swiss commercial register in 2001 for consumer-goods trading, including cosmetics and perfumery products, and had previously used the names SWISSINCENSE Trading AG and SCENT Trading GmbH. On January 14, 2026, Swissduft was deleted from the register after its assets and liabilities were transferred by merger to Dentago Handels AG.
