Fragrance house

Mazzolari

Mazzolari traces its modern perfume-house and boutique history to Milan, where Augusto Mazzolari created his first perfumes and cosmetic line and opened his first boutique in 1966. The house grew from a family fragrance background: Augusto learned among the colognes and materials kept by his father Ferdinando, who operated a coiffeur salon. Augusto shaped the early olfactory identity through fragrances including MA, Jangada and Monsieur Odar. During the 1970s, Mazzolari added Milan boutiques, while in the late 1980s the family founded the Garbo and Olympia Beautè perfume-shop chains. By the 1990s, Mazzolari was also hosting launches for fragrance and beauty brands, extending its presence beyond retail into Milan’s beauty culture. The brand received Milan’s “Bottega Storica di Milano” recognition and remains associated with Milan, multigenerational perfumery expertise, and both traditional and niche fragrance. Today, P.U.Ma. SRL, established in Milan on 14 September 2017, is an innovative startup created by the Mazzolari family. Mazzolari, the brand’s signature scent, is a green woody composition softened by citrus and grounded in sandalwood, vetiver and cedar.
