Memo Paris

Founded in Paris in 2007 by Clara Molloy and her husband, John Molloy, Memo Paris builds its fragrances around travel: memories of destinations are translated into scent, while its Carte de Tendre maps emotions and memories through individual destinations. Its creative process can begin with a place, image, name or ingredient and develops through an intuitive exchange between Clara Molloy and collaborating perfumers. Perfumer Aliénor Massenet signed Lalibela, the house’s first fragrance, in 2008, and the first fragrance in the Cuirs Nomades line; Memo Paris credits her with a substantial share of its compositions. Cuirs Nomades explores leather accords across different landscapes and destinations. Irish Leather is an iconic Memo Paris scent linked to John Molloy’s Irish origins and associated with freedom, wilderness and the natural world. For its tenth anniversary, the house created Eau de Memo.
