Memoirs of a Perfume Collector
Memoirs of a Perfume Collector traces its legal beginnings to the United Kingdom, where its operating company was incorporated on 17 September 2019 as The Perfume Ritual Ltd and renamed Memoirs of a Perfume Collector Ltd on 24 April 2020. Its public fragrance story began in London in 2021. The British niche house builds its identity around craftsmanship, creating fragrances inspired by places visited or intended to be visited and linking scent with memory, travel, and emotion. British perfumer Harry Sherwood created the brand’s first fragrances. Beyond The Pashtun Summit was introduced in 2022 as one of its first five scents; inspired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, it is an early example of the house’s place-based approach. By 2026, the brand had introduced the Midnight City Series and Ocean Series, framing fragrances around cities after dark and the distinct identities of the world’s oceans. Its 2026 creative development also included Cherry Lane, created by perfumer Shadi Samra, and the brand made its first appearance at Esxence.
