Mendittorosa

Mendittorosa was founded in Naples in 2012 by Stefania Squeglia, who turned to artistic self-expression after a major personal change and a restorative visit to Stromboli. The brand approaches perfumery as an art: each fragrance begins with a philosophical or symbolic concept and is expressed through scent and packaging. Squeglia retains creative direction of these concepts while collaborating with perfumers and visual artists, including Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel, and Luca Maffei. About three years after its launch, Mendittorosa expanded into the Talismans line, now presented alongside Odori d’Anima as a distinct collection. Released in 2017, Osang was named a finalist in the independent category of the 2018 Art and Olfaction Awards, with Giovanni Festa credited as perfumer and Squeglia with creative direction. The brand has also scented the main room of the Archaeological National Museum of Naples for the Aphrodisia exhibition. Le Mat, framed around the tarot figure of the same name, is labeled a Best Seller on the official product page.
