Mendittorosa Talismans

Mendittorosa was founded by Stefania Squeglia in 2012 after a formative experience on Stromboli, the volcanic island she identifies as the brand’s symbol, muse, and protection. Its first major creative chapter was the Odori d’Anima Trilogy—Alfa, Omega, and Id—which expressed a balance between opposites; Id was inspired by Iddu, Stromboli’s local name. The brand subsequently developed Talismans as a distinct symbolic fragrance line, presenting its perfumes as private prayers associated with protection and power, with narratives shaped by mythology, dreams, astrology, ritual, and transformation. Squeglia is the founder and creative director, guiding work created collaboratively by perfumers, designers, artists, artisans, and writers. Each fragrance is given its own identity or soul through bespoke bottle adornments and packaging that express its themes. Mendittorosa is especially associated with the Talismans collection, whose central idea is perfume as a protective talisman with symbolic and personal meaning. The Mendittorosa trademark is currently licensed to LE MONDE S.R.L.S.
