Merve Perfumes is a consumer fragrance brand founded in 2023 and launched by Sawai Fragrances; its U.S. website identifies it as a product of Sawai Fragrances LLC. Its parent fragrance business traces its origins to Sawailal Jain’s 1965 hydro-distillation plant for attar production in Kannauj, India, and secured its first international order in 1982. In 2017, Sawai brought its ventures under the unified Sawai Fragrances name, with Merve launched as part of the company’s move toward a global-facing brand portfolio. The brand combines Middle Eastern perfumery with French compositional tradition, and its fragrances are crafted in the UAE. Its creative philosophy is story-led, with fragrances intended to unfold over time and evoke experiences, places, people, or memories. Merve organizes its identity through the Dubai Collection, associated with French compositional clarity, and the Paris Collection, described as Middle Eastern in olfactory DNA and unisex in positioning.
