Michele Bianchi
Michele Bianchi is an Italian fragrance creator born in Apulia, southern Italy. He moved to Saint Petersburg in 2012 and relocated to Moscow three years later, where he is based. The brand’s own compositions date from 2015, while independent fragrance references list its earliest publicly recorded releases from 2017. Its identity brings together an Italian perfumer working from Moscow and inspirations drawn from Russia’s beauty, charm, and cultural richness. Bianchi is the brand’s proprietor and conceives and handcrafts its fragrances himself. Humus is the brand’s strongest directly evidenced defining fragrance: it was listed as a 2017 release and won the 2017 Outsider Scent Awards in blind judging, with the composition linked to roots, childhood memories, and the smell of earth.
