Mikado

Mikado is a diversified Nigerian group based in Lagos, with activities spanning safety and security, communications, industrial and specialty chemicals, consumer goods, fragrance, and flavours and food ingredients. Mikado Nigeria Limited was incorporated on 3 November 1988 and commenced business on 1 January 1989; Michael Ojeme is identified as its founder. The company describes its development as an expansion from its original business into electronic security, telecommunications, fragrance distribution, and flavour distribution. Its fragrance division serves perfumery and a broad range of care applications, including body, home and fabric, oral, hair, and air care, as well as fragrance ingredients. Mikado also states that it has partnered with global fragrance brands for more than a decade and serves as Firmenich’s sole appointed agent in Nigeria.
