Fragrance house
Milano
Milano Fragranze was created in 2020 by Alessandro Brun and Riccardo Tedeschi, the founders of Masque Milano, and was publicly presented at Pitti Fragranze in 2021 after its launch exhibition was postponed because of COVID-19. Its creative identity is rooted in Milanese places and the “spirit of place,” with each fragrance focused on a location and the people associated with it. The collection debuted with eight fragrances in 2021, followed a few months later by Panettone, while Piazza Affari was introduced at Esxence in 2022. Masque srl is identified as the company behind the brand. Brun, who was born and raised in Milan, was its key creative figure and directed its celebration of the city until his death in February 2024, which materially changed the brand’s creative leadership. Basilica, created by Violaine Collas with Brun as creative director, was a finalist in the 2022 Art and Olfaction Awards.
