Milano Fragranze
Milano Fragranze is an Italian niche fragrance brand founded by Masque in 2020 and operated under Masque Srl, with Alessandro Brun as its artistic director. It debuted in 2021 with eight fragrances. The brand takes Milan as its subject: its “spirit of the place” concept centers each scent on a Milanese location while telling stories about the people associated with it. Its identity draws on the city’s changing history, architecture, artistic activity, cosmopolitan life and local memories. In 2022, Piazza Affari extended this approach to Milan’s financial district. Brera offers another example, serving as a tribute to the Brera district and to Francesco Hayez’s The Kiss, housed in the Pinacoteca di Brera. Basilica was a finalist in the independent category of the 2022 Art and Olfaction Awards. Brun died before February 20, 2024; Neon Lights, presented in May 2025, was the first Milano Fragranze fragrance launched after his death.
