Millefiori Milano
Millefiori Milano was founded in 1995 by Milanese entrepreneur Alessandro Rolandi. Originating in Brianza, the brand developed around home fragrances conceived as contemporary design objects for interiors. Its concept brings together home fragrance and design with form, emotion, Italian sensibility, and personal expression. In July 2014, Assietta Private Equity sold Millefiori to Yankee Candle, a company controlled by Jarden Corporation. Jarden was acquired by Newell Rubbermaid on April 15, 2016, with Millefiori listed among Jarden’s branded-consumables brands; Newell Rubbermaid subsequently became Newell Brands. In 2023, Millefiori returned to Italian ownership, with the transaction’s stated aim of reinforcing its Italian identity after integration with other American brands had not been fully realized. The Milano collection is the brand’s eponymous range of modern home fragrances, using color and design as part of the fragrance experience. The collection is described as being at the heart of Millefiori Milano, with its names, colors, and fragrances remaining unchanged through the design evolution.
