Fragrance house
Miller Harris
Miller Harris was founded in London in 2000 by perfumer Lyn Harris, with Christophe Michel as her business partner during the brand’s early development. From a small home perfumery, it grew into an international fragrance business built around complete artistic freedom for perfumers. Its approach draws on poetry, nature, memory, music and art without rigid commercial briefs. Harris was the central creative figure at the foundation and created fragrances for the house before stepping back in 2014 to focus on her separate venture, Perfumer H. NEO Capital invested in Miller Harris in 2012, and Companies House records later identified Neo Capital General Partner L.P. as a person with significant influence or control. In 2022, the brand introduced simpler black-framed packaging while retaining its bottles’ line drawings, alongside two fragrances created by Mathieu Nardin of Robertet. Its current identity combines British perfumery, craftsmanship, individuality and artistic exploration with a stated commitment to vegan, ethically sourced and cruelty-free products. L’Air de Rien, created for Jane Birkin in 2006, is a defining Miller Harris fragrance and is produced in annual small batches.
