Miraj

Miraj emerged in the 1970s, when Macul Roșu was rebranded under the Miraj name, and it subsequently achieved international success. Its historic perfume portfolio included Miss Miraj, Draclee, Tourist, Jubilee, and Opera, names that remain associated with Romanian collective memory. In 1989, Miraj was rebranded as Gerovital Cosmetics; ownership rights to the Gerovital brand were transferred completely to Farmec in 2008, after which Miraj ceased operations. The name was registered again in 2018 and developed under new management as a boutique perfume brand. The current Miraj is presented as a Romanian boutique niche-perfumery brand conceived in Romania, developed with internationally recognized perfumery experts, and financed with private Romanian capital. For its relaunch, it introduced two new formulas, Miraj Caramel and Miraj Velur, both created with perfumer Stéphanie Bakouche, rather than reproducing historic formulas.
