Mirko Buffini
Mirko Buffini Firenze was founded by Mirko Buffini in Florence in 2012, drawing on the city’s perfumery tradition. Its origin story begins with a perfume Buffini received as a gift, which prompted his search for an ideal fragrance. The brand’s creative identity brings together Florentine craftsmanship and Italian character with ideas gathered through international travel and engagement with Japanese culture. In June 2013, it presented its first Black Collection at Pitti Immagine Uomo, comprising 12 fragrances developed over approximately two years. The H.C.E. line followed at Pitti Fragranze Firenze in September 2017, inspired by James Joyce’s Finnegans Wake. In March 2020, Mirko Buffini introduced Noûs Cologne, its third olfactory line, focused on expressing individual identity. Claudia, whose gift sparked Buffini’s interest in perfume, later became a business partner. Within the Black Collection, Saba and Haiku are identified as best sellers, while MU received Japan’s Fragrance of the Year recognition in 2015.
