Mirus Fine Fragrance

Mirus Fine Fragrance is a San Francisco-based perfume house founded and perfumed by Neal Peters. The artisan brand focuses on small-batch parfum extraits, with bottles hand blended from ingredients selected by Peters. Its debut fragrance, Statesman, was released in 2015, followed by Ceremony in 2016 and The Elysian Fields in 2017. Ceremony is an oud-centered composition with magnolia, jasmine, and white musk, and was shortlisted as an Artisan-category finalist at the 2017 Art and Olfaction Awards. The Elysian Fields explored an aromatic fougère structure built around lavender, tonka bean, oakmoss, and geranium. Together, these documented releases trace Mirus’s early movement from woody-spicy styles toward aromatic fougère, while Ceremony’s award recognition marked a notable point in the house’s public profile within independent artisan perfumery.
