Mondial 1908
Mondial 1908 began in Florence in 1908, when Attilio Bagnoli established an artisan workshop making industrial and shaving brushes. The Bagnoli business expanded from local production into domestic and European markets, including the manufacture of shaving sets for leading European brands. After Franco Bagnoli died in 1985, fourth-generation family members Carlo, Francesco, and Marco took active roles and continued the family enterprise. Following a trademark acquisition, the family extended Mondial 1908 beyond brushes and razors into men’s cosmetics, grooming products, fragrances, and colognes. Today, the Florence-born men’s-care brand is centered on traditional grooming rituals, craftsmanship, and continued innovation, with its registered trademarks owned by Pennellificio Attilio Bagnoli S.r.l. Its Florence fragrance is connected to the city and to Bagnoli family traditions, with a formula kept within the family before being shared publicly. The scent was created by a renowned French perfumer and family friend for an ancestor of the Bagnoli family.
