Fragrance house
Monom
Monom was founded in 2014 by Renato and Simone Bongiorno, growing from Renato’s idea in collaboration with perfumer Nicola Bianchi. The project began as an independent olfactory concept in 2010, and seven fragrances were presented at Pitti Fragranze in 2015. Its identity combines an ancient perfuming method with modern techniques: concentrated, undiluted essences are presented in roll-on bottles rather than conventional alcohol sprays. Bianchi created Monom’s fragrances as a company partner, using both natural raw materials and modern synthetic materials. In 2024, Monom presented Cloride, a fresh floral interpretation within its pure-fragrance format. Its fragrance legacy includes Reyna and Irmao, identified among the brand’s best-selling fragrances; Reyna centers on Mexican vanilla, while Irmao is a tobacco-based spicy gourmand.
