Fragrance house
montecristodeleggend
Montecristo Deleggend is a Swedish fragrance brand developed by Stockholm-based Mille Centum Parfums, whose perfume house was founded in 2016 and officially launched in 2017. Created by cigar and fragrance enthusiast Marco Ciccateri, the project first appeared in summer 2016 at the Encuentro de Amigos de Partagas in Matelica, Italy. The Montecristo name links the collection to Alexandre Dumas’s The Count of Monte Cristo, presenting three fragrances as different faces of one identity. The opening collection—Blanc, Signature Line, and Noir—was officially launched in 2017 after Blanc and Noir were added as complementary alter egos to the original concept. Its olfactory direction combines woody, spicy, fresh, musky, and tobacco-associated accords, with cedar used across all three fragrances as a connection to cigar culture. Signature, created by Christian Vermorel, was the first fragrance the founders chose to offer and is identified as the line’s signature fragrance. The three scents reflect stages of the Count’s story: Blanc represents Edmond Dantès before his trial, Signature his emergence as the Count, and Noir his revenge. Initially framed for men, the compositions were later described as unisex. The Montecristo Deleggend name and logo are owned by Habanos S.A. and licensed to Mille Centum Parfums AB.
