Monyette Paris
Monyette Paris is an independent niche perfumery founded by perfumer Tristan Brando in Hollywood, California. Brando’s travels through Polynesia and the South Pacific shaped the brand’s creative identity, with an emphasis on tropical air and local floral aromas. The house is especially associated with its eponymous fragrance, a tropical white-floral composition built around Tahitian gardenia, French muguet du bois, and island vanilla orchid, with a broader olfactory profile of creamy gardenia, vanilla, and a South Pacific atmosphere. In 2002, Style magazine included Monyette Paris among its five great cult perfumes, a selection later documented by Now Smell This. A fragrance reference listing records three Monyette Paris fragrances, all launched in 2007.
