Fragrance house
Morari
Morari began in October 2021 as an independent U.S. perfume brand founded and built by Vika Michael, its owner and perfume maker. Michael developed the house from a long-standing interest in perfumery and a desire to create one-of-a-kind scents for individual customers. Its practice centers on handmade perfume oils, custom commissions, and realistic accords, developed by comparing constructed impressions with the smell or taste of real-world subjects. Requested notes are blended for their interaction rather than simply combined from premade accords. By 2025, Morari’s range included a general catalog, seasonal scents, the Vanilles collection, the Life in the Valley collection, and custom perfumes. In October 2025, Michael publicly disclosed that autistic burnout and chronic pain were shaping discussions about Morari’s future, including a possible focus on gentler fragrances for people sensitive to fragrance or a customs-only model; no major change had yet been made.
