Moresque

Moresque is an Italian fragrance house founded in the Milan area by Cindy Guillemant. The house traces its beginnings to 2014, with its earliest recorded fragrance edition appearing in 2015. Guillemant’s meeting with perfumer Andrea Casotti shaped Moresque’s development, with their shared interest in modern art and perfume informing its compositions. The brand brings together Italian taste, contemporary craftsmanship and design with Arabic perfumery traditions, drawing on Moorish art and architecture. That influence extends to its name, bottle forms and artistic presentation. Its development moved from the White and Black collections to the Art collection, whose bottles are hand-decorated and hand-painted. Moresque currently operates under HIC Beauty S.r.l., a company involved in developing and positioning fragrance brands. For its tenth anniversary, Moresque marked the occasion with the Legacy Collection, eight creations comprising seven established house fragrances and one new release. Across its collections, the fragrance palette spans floral, oriental, woody and musky territories.
