Motörhead
Motörhead was formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy Kilmister, who recruited guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox after leaving Hawkwind. Its early sound fused heavy-rock power with punk energy and contributed to the development of speed metal and thrash metal. After Fast Eddie Clarke joined and Larry Wallis departed, the classic early lineup settled as a trio. Overkill and Bomber were released in 1979, followed by Ace of Spades in 1980 and the chart-topping live album No Sleep ’Til Hammersmith in 1981. The band ended its musical career after Lemmy Kilmister died on 28 December 2015, while its official site has continued presenting the legacy through anniversary releases, memorial projects, and the identity “Motörhead for life / Lemmy forever.” A fragrance collection launched in 2022, including Motörhead Man, with a rough leather-and-smoky profile, and Motörhead Woman, with a sharper, woody-resinous profile.
