Moussel
Moussel emerged in Spain in the 1960s, when perfumer Henry Legrain created a liquid shower and bath gel intended to replace the traditional soap bar. The brand was developed within Legrain, a perfume company founded in Bucharest in 1915 and later re-established in Barcelona after its owners left Romania during World War II. Its early identity joined the liquid bath product to a distinctive octagonal bottle and included colognes. After passing through Unilever’s Elida Beauty portfolio, Moussel was acquired by Varma’s Varma Food & Care in 2025. Varma presents it as a classic bath brand associated with childhood memories and an enduring fragrance tradition. That tradition is especially associated with Classique, described as a floral, fresh fragrance with geranium and eucalyptus facets and a warm woody aspect.
