Mr Black is presented as a fragrance in the Parfums de Rue range rather than as a separately documented fragrance house. The project returned to the origins of Byron Parfums after five years in niche perfumery. Byron Parfums was created in 2016 by Yann Derriennic, also known as LARCHITECT, whose creative identity combines former beatmaking and street-culture experience with perfume composition. Described as the brand’s self-taught nose, Derriennic is also listed as Mr Black’s owner and perfume maker. Parfums de Rue uses a street- and hip-hop-inspired aesthetic, color-based fragrance names, and small-series releases.
