Mr&Mrs Fragrance was founded in 2010 by Massimo Esposito and Simona Guerini, a couple in life and work, to create designed, Made-in-Italy scented objects for the home and car. Based in Busto Arsizio, Italy, the brand is associated with Joy Fragrances Ltd. Its identity combines fragrance with design through colorful, playful objects and, in its car-fragrance range, aesthetics with functionality. Italian and international designers including Luca Trazzi, Stefano Giovannoni, Marcantonio Malerba, Rumiko Takeda and Francesco Bigatti have shaped its creative identity, while Luca Maffei is identified as a fragrance creator behind its scents. In 2013, the Fresh Air Friends line expanded with George, a Luca Trazzi-designed home diffuser using capsule technology; the same report described scented EVA polymer as an early product innovation. By 2023, the brand was extending its design-and-fragrance identity into the NFT—Not Fake Art collection through scented art-toy concepts and design events. Cesare, a humanoid-shaped car air freshener, is described as the brand ambassador, and the wider concept began with Cesare.
