Murdock London

Murdock London’s business was incorporated in England in 2005, and founder Brendan Murdock opened the brand’s first barbershop on Old Street in 2006. From its Shoreditch beginnings, it developed into a men’s-grooming brand combining barber services with its own products and online store. A second site opened in Liberty’s men’s department in 2008, followed by further London locations and an expanded in-house grooming range. Its public identity is rooted in London barbering, traditional shaves and beard grooming, delivered through relaxed, service-led barbershop experiences. Ownership changed in 2018 when Murdock Limited was acquired by The Grooming Company UK Limited, backed by CedarBridge Capital Partners. In June 2024, The Grooming Company Holding was fully acquired by Omorfia Group. Fragrance is represented most clearly by Black Tea Cologne, presented as Murdock London’s signature and best-selling cologne, with an inspiration drawn from Britain’s historic spice and tea routes.
