My Inner Island Parfums
My Inner Island Parfums is an Italian perfume house founded by Valentina Giordano. A pharmacist by training, Giordano went on to study perfumery and perfume composition with a French perfumer while developing the brand; she is also identified as its perfumer. The house’s creative identity centers on imaginary islands, tropical beaches, sunny climates, and memories of time spent by the sea. Its first line, My First Island, launched with three fragrances in February 2011, followed by My Second Island with three more in September that year. The Numbers line was completed in January 2012 as part of a darker-themed phase, while the later My Third Island development included Cocco e Limone and Vaniglia Cacao e Caffé, the latter presented at Pitti Fragranze in 2014. Across these collections, reference records document 11 fragrances released from 2011 through 2014. A recurring fragrance direction is tropical and marine-salty: Cocco e Limone is presented as a tropical-sea fragrance, while Vaniglia Cacao e Caffé is an intense salty gourmand inspired by Caribbean ingredients and experience.
