Mythos

Mythos is a Greek natural-cosmetics brand created by Flax Natural Products, whose business began in Athens in 1966 under Vasilis Vavvas and associates. Flax launched Mythos in 2002 for the tourism market as a collection of natural cosmetics based on Greek olive oil. The brand’s range combines Greek BIO olive oil of the Koroneiki variety with aromatic plants, fruits, herbs and essential oils. Its creative identity draws on ancient Greek culture, using the amphora as a central visual metaphor and connecting the name Mythos with a legendary story passed by word of mouth. Mythos presents its olive-based cosmetics as a link between ancient experience and contemporary scientific research. Its fragrance offering includes an Eau de Toilette and shimmering body mists framed around Greek myths, colour, memory and the spirit of Greece.
