Nailberry

Nailberry was founded by Sonia Hully, with the business established by January 2012 as a luxury nail bar in Chelsea, London. After Hully observed clients’ dry and damaged nails, the business developed nail polishes aimed at healthier formulas, launching its first polishes in 2014 without formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, or animal by-products. In 2015, Nailberry introduced L’Oxygéné, a breathable, moisture-permeable polish range using patented technology. A further formula update followed in 2017, described as breathable, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, Halal-certified, and 12-free. Nailberry’s identity centers on nail health and respect for the environment and nature, alongside vegan, cruelty-free, and Halal certifications. L’Oxygéné has received Beauty Bible, Natural Health, and Beauty Shortlist recognition. An acquisition later moved ownership from founder-owned NBY London Limited into Silverwood Brands’ portfolio, while Hully retained creative and founder influence during the transition.
