Naj-Oleari

Naj-Oleari was founded in 1916 in Magenta by Riccardo Naj-Oleari as Manifatture Naj-Oleari, initially producing sacred and priestly clothing. Under the family’s third generation in the 1970s, the brand developed a bolder visual identity through vivid colours and patterns, including designs created by Maurizia Dova. Its fashion and accessories business reached its strongest public prominence during the 1980s and early 1990s, encompassing colourful fabrics, patterned goods, bags, wallets, umbrellas and other accessories. In 1996, the three family brothers sold the Naj-Oleari company to the Tuscan Bottega Verde group, owned by the Lavino family. For Naj-Oleari Beauty, EuroItalia’s corporate history records the acquisition of the licence in 1988, and the current beauty site identifies EuroItalia as the developer and distributor. Today, the beauty identity centres on makeup associated with joy, freedom of self-expression and a light, natural and authentic form of Italian beauty.
