Napoleon

Founded in 1975 by Daniel Yerushalmi, Napoleon began in New York as a luxury menswear business with a boutique on Lexington Avenue. In 1980, it opened its first flagship at 762 Madison Avenue, expanding its Manhattan presence. The house entered fine fragrance in 1983 with Napoleon Classic Cologne by Daniel, composed by Yerushalmi. DANIEL is presented as Napoleon’s signature fragrance; privately reserved for more than four decades, it was publicly unveiled in a 50th-anniversary edition in 2025. Napoleon is a privately held family enterprise spanning three generations: Yerushalmi founded it, his son Ilan carries forward the tradition, and his grandson Yaniv leads the business. Made in Italy, the current fragrance continues the original 1983 Daniel composition, whose formula has been preserved across generations.
