Narcisse Taormina
Narcisse Taormina is an artistic-perfumery brand based in Taormina, Sicily, founded by Alessandra Caltabiano on 23 April 1986 at Corso Umberto 33. The brand presents Sicilian identity through fragrances and art objects, translating Taormina’s places, traditions, artisans, and memories into sensory experiences. In 1988, it created Aria di Taormina and launched five Narcisse fragrances, initially using Art Nouveau-style packaging that was later redesigned. Caltabiano is identified as the creator of Narcisse’s fragrance vision. In 2018, her collaboration with Filippo Lapi reshaped the brand’s presentation, with Lapi serving as art director and visual designer for its packaging and campaigns. The Narcisse Collection was publicly introduced in 2019 with Aria di Taormina, Zagara, and Isolabella across personal and home fragrance formats. Aria di Taormina, the collection’s first fragrance, interprets Taormina’s citrus-filled streets, gardens, and summer atmosphere. By 2025, the brand’s visual identity combined Sicilian craft references with contemporary digital animation.
