Fragrance house
Nejma Collection
Nejma Collection was created by Marie-Lise Bischoff, who decided around 2004 to establish her own perfume house after working in the fragrance industry. Its identity draws on an Arabic-language story of Nejma and a vizier whose union produces seven daughters, a tale that became the conceptual basis for the original seven-fragrance series. The brand combines Middle Eastern inspiration, especially oud, with French perfumery traditions; its Heritage Collection comprises seven warm, spicy and floral fragrances unified by oud. In 2018, the Nejma trademark and domain name were transferred to the newly created Nejma Collection Paris as part of a restructuring involving the existing trademark owners and a new investor. The company entered judicial reorganization in March 2020, received a seven-year restructuring plan in July 2021, and was later placed into judicial liquidation on 26 January 2026.
