Nez
Founded in 2016 by Jeanne Doré, Mathieu Chévara, and Dominique Brunel, Nez developed around an original magazine whose first issue appeared in spring 2016 through collaboration between Doré and Editions Le Contrepoint. Its stated purpose is to make olfactory culture accessible through journalism, science, perfumery, history, and art. Nez magazine remains its flagship publication, adding an English-language edition in 2017. Since 2019, Nez has partnered with LMR Naturals by IFF on Nez+LMR Naturals Notebooks, a collection focused on perfume plants and natural ingredients. The brand has also extended its publishing work through Mag by Nez and Auparfum, launched Podcasts by Nez in November 2021, and began offering English podcast episodes in 2024. In March 2024, it launched Paris Perfume Week; in 2025, it created the first Grasse Perfume Week and launched Nez in China, a bilingual English-Chinese olfactory-culture magazine. Nez’s defining fragrance identity is editorial, especially through its magazine and Nez+LMR collection.
