Fragrance house
Nino Amaddeo
Nino Amaddeo is a French fragrance house founded in 2019 by perfumer Nino Amaddeo. Its story follows Amaddeo’s earlier work: in 1970, he co-founded Réminiscence with Zoé Coste, a venture that initially brought together jewelry and fragrance inspired by their travels. After selling Réminiscence and briefly considering retirement, Amaddeo returned to fragrance because creative work was missing from his life, creating an eponymous house in his own image. The new line was presented as a modern, glamorous expression set against references to his earlier creations. Its launch collection contained ten fragrances—six in a women’s collection and four in a men’s collection—composed with Robertet. The house connects fragrance with love, travel, Mediterranean imagery, emotional memory, Grasse’s perfumery heritage, and a balance between tradition and innovation. Patchouli is the clearest fragrance thread in Amaddeo’s work: Patchouli by Nino carries forward the material he has described as his great love, while For Zoé pays tribute to Zoé Coste.
