Fragrance house

Niviru

Niviru was founded in 2019 by childhood friends Víctor Jawneh and Pol Rubio. After two years of development, it launched its first perfume in 2021. Its mission is to democratize author perfumery by making fragrance more accessible through transparent pricing and communication about formulation. The brand uses an urban aesthetic aimed particularly at younger audiences and explains perfume creation and industry practices through videos, podcasts, and social platforms. Its creative model gives collaborating perfumers freedom to choose ingredients and explore formulas, connecting established and emerging creators with the public. By 2025, Niviru’s fragrance work spanned editions from 2021 through 2025 and collaborations with Chris Maurice, Monica Alonso, Belén García, Valerie Bessone, and Luis Calderón. Niviru had six fragrances, including For Easy Days, created with Belén García, a citrus-aquatic scent associated with freshness and cleanliness.
