Non Gender Specific

Founded in 2018 by beauty-industry professional Andrew Glass, Non Gender Specific was created in response to gender divisions in beauty and excessive skincare routines. Its identity centers on skincare and self-care for all humans, regardless of gender, skin tone, or skin type, with multifunctional formulas intended to reduce consumer waste. The brand debuted with Everything Serum, later extending the Everything concept into cleanser, cream, and mask formats. In 2019, it introduced Flooid, its first fragrance, with a genderless positioning and plantable wildflower-seed paper packaging. Relaunched in 2023, Flooid is the brand’s signature fragrance. In July 2024, Non Gender Specific expanded into haircare with its first haircare line. In 2025, it became NGS Beauty in a rebrand that updated its packaging and formulations and presented its inclusive mission more clearly; Glass remained its founder. NGS Beauty is the continuation of Non Gender Specific, with botanical-led formulations and science-backed development for consumers across gender and skin type. As of September 2025, the business was self-funded.
