Fragrance house
Nosu
Nosu is a United Kingdom-based independent perfume house founded by artist Lucy Webster and self-taught perfumer Jacob Grainger. Its perfumes are designed and handmade in small batches in North London, within a creative model that pairs each scent with original artwork inspired by its themes and textures. The house’s fragrances are genderless and centered on unusual natural materials supported by synthetic molecules; its first three artworks used photography, inkjet printing, and chemigrams. The name Nosu is described as an old English word for “nose,” while its bottle lid, developed with French artist and designer Clémence Frot, follows an abstract-nose concept. The brand’s initial three perfumes launched in 2025. In 2026, Nosu released Untitled, a limited-edition collaboration with London-based music producer Jeigo, inspired by his piece “Placid Shimmers” and limited to 100 bottles.
