NSHQ
Founded in Saudi Arabia in 2005 by perfumer Nouf Al-Qahtani, NSHQ is based in Al Khobar and closely tied to its founder’s study and practice of scent. Al-Qahtani’s fragrance identity combines family traditions: her mother’s French taste and her father’s preference for oud and oils, alongside her studies at specialized fragrance institutes in France. The first fragrance she created for NSHQ was Al Sheyoukh, an oud-based perfume launched in 2005 and named for her mother. Powder, created in 2015 for Princess Abeer bint Faisal bin Turki, was released publicly after an initial 50-piece run, became the brand’s bestseller, and received the 2017 FiFi Arabia Award for Arabian Popular Appeal Female Perfume. NSHQ also shifted from numbered fragrances to names intended to convey stories and emotions. Its current categories include personal, special, limited-edition, body, hair, home, car, and oud-oil fragrances.
