Nudestix
Nudestix was founded in Toronto in 2014 by chemical engineer and beauty-industry veteran Jenny Frankel and her daughters Ally and Taylor Frankel. The brand originated as a response to their preference for simple, quick, natural-looking makeup, expressed through multitasking sticks designed for application without brushes. Its public identity centers on minimalist, multitasking makeup and a “go nude but better” approach that enhances rather than masks natural features. Within six months of its debut, Nudestix reported receiving Women’s Wear Daily’s Prestige Beauty Brand of the Year award. In February 2019, it announced a new investor group that included Hilary Duff and Chelsea Handler. Nudestix expanded into skincare with Nudeskin in October 2020 and introduced the Nudebody body-care category with Sofia Richie in 2022. On September 12, 2025, it was reported acquired by an undisclosed U.S.-based private group; financial terms were not disclosed, and cofounders Jenny and Taylor Frankel were expected to remain with the brand.
