Octavia Morgan Los Angeles

Founded by Octavia Morgan, Octavia Morgan Los Angeles began operating full-time in 2022 as a Los Angeles-based, gender-inclusive clean fragrance and body-care house. Morgan created the brand in response to her own fragrance sensitivity and a perceived lack of complex clean alternatives, drawing on her science background, nursing career, herbalist grandmother, fragrance education, and mentorship. She is the brand’s founder and creative director and personally develops its fragrances through a story-led process centered on a primary ingredient and balancing materials. In February 2025, the brand launched at Ulta Beauty as the first Black woman-owned fine-fragrance brand to enter the retailer’s prestige fragrance category. Vanillin Supreme, Midnight Orchard, and Dark Rose are among its bestsellers. In a 2025 development centered on vanilla, Morgan studied Madagascar vanilla beans and created Vanillin Supreme and Casablanca as distinct interpretations of the ingredient.
