Fragrance house
OKKI
OKKI emerged in Russia as a celebrity fragrance brand associated with composer and music producer Igor Krutoy and his wife, Olga Krutaya. Its name combines their initials, and its concept linked the couple’s musical identity with perfumery: the fragrances were associated with their union and created under the impression of Igor Krutoy’s melodies. In February 2011, Olga Krutaya was reported as the brand’s owner, when OKKI presented Opus pour Femme and Opus pour Homme at Moscow’s TSUM; the fragrances were publicly presented in Riga that June. Initial development began after Krutaya met French perfumer Nejla Barbir, who proposed a composition for Igor Krutoy, with Opus pour Homme followed by Opus pour Femme. Documented releases from 2011 to 2013 also include La Muse and La Muse Sensuelle.
