Olfactive Pharmacy

Olfactive Pharmacy was founded in 2020 by Cologne pharmacists Oliver and Holger Dubben. Rooted in Cologne’s perfume tradition, the brand brings pharmacognosy and herbal-medicine knowledge into contemporary perfumery through its “Parfums de Santé,” a fragrance concept centered on wellbeing, nature and medicinal plants. Each fragrance is dedicated to a medicinal plant, drawing its concept from elements such as bark, flowers, fruit or roots. The house debuted with Betula, Tilia and Salvia: Mark Buxton created Betula and Tilia, while David Chieze created Salvia. Betula is built around birch and Salvia around sage; by the 2024 Esxence presentation, the collection also included Thymus, conceived by Aistis Mickevičius. Its visual identity translates traditional amber pharmacy bottles into contemporary flacons with hexagonal caps and botanical lithographs.
