Olivares & Ribero

Olivares & Ribero is an Italian fragrance brand founded by perfumer Carlo Ribero and antiques dealer Corrado Olivares, whose expertise included eighteenth-century Italian furniture. Its creative concept connects perfumery with woodworking and marquetry, drawing on the character of woods associated with cabinetmaking. In November 2015, the brand presented its first collection, Le Essenze di Olivares & Ribero, a four-fragrance project shaped by the founders’ shared interests in art, cabinetmaking, and perfumery. The founders described its intended style as genderless and emphasized continuity, introducing new materials and techniques without changing the underlying identity. A 2017 industry report records the presentation of Ciliegio & Passione, indicating an expansion beyond the original four-fragrance collection. The brand’s documented fragrance identity is rooted in the connection between woods, craft, and perfumery.
