OLORI
OLORI traces its origins to Aromas Naturales, founded by José Alberto Bosque Martínez in Onzonilla, Spain, to make room fragrances in jars with an integrated sponge instead of alcohol-based reed diffusion. The early jar fragrances received the International Gold Star of Quality and the International Award for Commercial Prestige in 1998, a year after their market introduction. Michael Kannefaß took over Aromas Naturales in 1999, while Bosque Martínez remained director. In 2011, the company abandoned the Aromas Naturales name in favor of OLORI. The brand’s room fragrances are based on natural essential oils, and its range is organized around two formats: sponge-based fragrance jars and reed diffusers; its consumer site states that synthetic fragrances are not used as the basis of its room scents. A 2013 diffuser format used glycol instead of alcohol. The patented fragrance jar, associated with the OLORI Classic line, is identified as the product that established the brand’s growth and success and as its flagship.
